i have seen a lot of depictions of black eyed people in shows or movies lately, it is always in people who are possessed. I have also seen depictions of eyes completely white, I think in reference to people divining or consulting with spirits.

So the ‘rise’ of the satanists has to do with their pride – or thinking of themselves more highly than they ought. As a result, of their pride, they come into agreement with the devils that possess them. They think that they can carry out any manner of wickedness against their neighbor, especially saints, and get away with it.
